Job Description
Qualifications • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil or Architectural Engineering (Master's Degree Preferred) • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE); SE License Preferred • Ability to be licensed in Texas within 3 months if not already licensed in Texas • Minimum of 8 years of professional structural engineering experience • Proficient with Autodesk Revit • Experience with US building codes and structural design standards • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Self-motivated and a good team player • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles Responsibilities • Lead projects from inception to completion • Manage client relationships and ensure client satisfaction • Oversee project teams and coordinate efforts to meet project goals • Contribute to business development and help grow the company's portfolio • Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met • Oversee technical execution and ensure quality control on all projects • Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative team environment • Conduct structural analysis, design, and detailing • Perform construction administration, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, conducting site observations, and preparing reports • Participate in quality control checks, maintaining quality standards in all work produced, checking computations, reviewing designs and drawings performed by others • Utilize BIM design software to produce structural drawings • Manage multiple projects and assignments concurrently • Attend client meetings for assigned projects and develop relationships with the clients and design team • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and clients #J-18808-Ljbffr
