Head of Fund Operation - Family Office

Job Description

A family office is looking for a seasoned fund operation director for their fast growing business. You will responsible for: • Streamline workflows for subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, distributions, settlements, reconciliations, onboarding, and reviews. • Set clear maker-checker controls, escalation paths, and exception handling standards. • Ensure smooth coordination across investment, finance, legal, and external providers. • Lead selection and rollout of core operations systems, including portfolio platforms, reconciliation tools, cashflow trackers, and workflow/document systems. • Manage end-to-end delivery: requirements, vendor selection, controls, UAT, data governance, access setup, and go-live. • Ensure systems support reporting, liquidity monitoring, and audit requirements. • Oversee daily operations, including capital activities, settlements, reconciliations, fees, valuation support, and issue resolution. • Ensure readiness for new funds, managers, custodians, and brokers. • Lead the Fund Administration Manager and support team expansion.
