We are in search of a dynamic and passionate candidate for Vice President - Sales. Reporting to the COO, the role will be responsible for leading the Sales functions for our hotels in Hong Kong and China. Job Responsibilities: • Oversees the sales function for all owned and managed properties and accountable for top line revenue with sensitivity to the bottom-line results. • Manages the development and implementation of innovative commercial strategies including revenue optimization and global sales. • Cultivates relationships in primary, secondary and tertiary markets alongside hotels’ sales team, visitor bureaus, industry leaders, community leaders and business leaders. • Develops corporate and commercial accounts as well as MICE business. • Builds and expands on strategic partnerships. • Maintains key customer relationships; develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s reach within its current customer base in all markets. • Establishes hotel-level tactical sales plans to support overall sales strategies and programs, inclusive of social media platforms and booking engines. • Stays abreast of industry trends across source markets and its impact on local and regional business opportunity as well as competitors’ offering to ensure market competitiveness. • Ensures the execution of sales plans and holds property teams accountable for achieving goals. • Provides leadership and support for all sales related activities, such as sales presentations, product training and tradeshows. • Responsible for negotiation of contracts with customers and commission agreements with third party agencies.
