Regulatory Reporting and Surveillance

Job Description

My client, a well-known bank, is seeking a strong candidate to deliver timely, consistent, and comprehensive transaction and position regulatory reporting across APAC jurisdictions, including HKMA, MAS, ASIC, SEBI, and others, for both Equities and Fixed Income products. The team also acts as the single point of contact for regional Operations on new regulatory initiatives. Responsibilities: • Establish robust procedures and controls to minimize operational risk in regulatory reporting. • Enhance existing controls to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and increase accuracy. • Prepare data for specific surveys and requests from central banks and regulators. • Assist in preparing regular updates to ITO management, Compliance, and Front Office regarding the status of various regulatory initiatives. • Define test cases, support user acceptance testing, and coordinate with IT on new releases for upcoming regulatory projects. • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in reporting standards. • Develop a strong understanding of the bank’s business and trade flows to identify and address reporting deficiencies, while proposing effective solutions.
