Our client is a prestigious Private Bank currently seeking for an experienced Onboarding VP to own and elevate the client onboarding lifecycle. This role is accountable for ensuring a seamless, compliant, and efficient onboarding experience—from initial client intake through account opening, KYC/AML readiness, documentation completion, and final activation. Key Responsibilities • Own the end-to-end onboarding journey for private banking clients, ensuring accurate documentation, timely completion, and a consistent client experience. • Drive strategy and continuous improvement across onboarding workflows, handoffs, and operational procedures. • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Relationship Management, Compliance, AML/KYC, Legal, Operations, Technology, and Client Services. • Ensure compliance and risk management across onboarding activities, including KYC/AML requirements, policy adherence, and audit readiness. • Identify process gaps and root causes and implement improvements to reduce rework and client-facing delays. • Standardize client documentation and controls, ensuring clear requirements and consistent decisioning. • Oversee onboarding exceptions/escalations, partnering with stakeholders to resolve complex cases.
