IT Support Engineer (Trading Floor Environment)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities • Provide frontline user support for trading floor users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues • Deliver desktop and application support across Windows and Linux environments • Monitor and maintain system stability in a low-latency, high-availability trading environment • Perform basic system administration tasks and assist with server maintenance • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN, VPN, TCP/IP) • Execute and support Linux command-line operations for diagnostics and system management • Develop and maintain basic automation scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell) • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve incidents and implement solutions • Support system deployments, upgrades, and change management activities Show More
