ULI is committed to building mutually beneficial relationships with major corporations through high-value programs, events, and content. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the Director, Business Development is responsible for all elements of corporate fundraising while also assisting in the alignment of core initiatives and ULI’s corporate supporters. Broadly, ULI is focused on identifying and unlocking opportunities to broaden and deepen corporate engagement both locally and regionally. This role will play a critical role in both building long-term relationships through a thorough understanding of the organizations business and activities. The Business Development Director will lead all marketing and BD related tasks, including pitches and proposals, managing deal collection processes, collateral, client events and roadshows, research, awards and raising the awareness of the brand and organization. The Director will also play a primary role in working with teams across ULI Asia Pacific including Membership, Events, Programmes and Local councils to support / lead / contribute to their business development efforts, to identify, develop, and qualify prospects through a systemic approach to lead discussions and ensuring follow up on actions are completed. The Director will be highly collaborative, have good communication, possess a good sense of humour, presentation skills, and excel at business development.
