About the RolePosition Objective: This statement should be a general summary of the responsibilities listed in the next section. A technical/functional role that provides day to day management and leadership for technical delivery (technology) related to agency compensation and subject matter expert accountable for systems and peripheral data pipelines.
Roles and Responsibilities- Engage in leading initiatives as the appointed technology / technical business lead for projects >$5m
- Lead and manage a team of subject matter experts, business analysts (onsite and offshore), technical resources to deliver high-quality and agency solutions and peripheral systems across multiple initiatives and workstreams
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business/technical analysis framework from technology perspective to ensure consistency and quality across all projects on the Agency Platform
- Work with Business Stakeholders to identify clear business process flows for each journey, detailed logic, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate, engage with senior stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for initiatives.
- Define and document use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide development teams with ready to develop specifications.
- Ensure that business requirements are aligned with business goals and objectives, and partner with development team to ensure solutions meet requirement needs aligned to business needs and requirements
- Assist in conducting system impact analysis and risk assessments for proposed changes and new initiatives with tech leads and system architects
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to business analysts and other team members.
- Monitor and report on requirement gathering and analysis progress, risks, and issues to program and senior management.
- Continuously improve business analysis processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in business analysis, technical delivery with a focus on techno-functional roles in large scale projects in the insurance domain
- Proven track record of leading and managing a team of technical and business analysts.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies and their application in business.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications and work with technical delivery teams
- Experience in facilitating workshops and meetings with stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
- Self-motivated, action-and-result oriented, team player, and demonstrable ability to influence others.
