Business Consultant – APAC (Remote, First Hire on the Ground) 🌍 Remote (APAC - Office in HK) | HQ: Australia 💰 Competitive: Base + Commision + Bonus 🧩 Industry: Retail / Made-to-measure (MTM) / Business Transformation (Tailoring) My client is looking for a commercially strong, highly consultative Business Consultant to be the first hire on the ground in APAC for a modern tailoring business transformation initiative. This is not a traditional SaaS sales role. They are introducing a new operating methodology for tailoring/MTM businesses — a structured approach to improving how they operate, scale, and serve customers. The software platform is simply an enabler. The real product is the business transformation model. • 3–8 years experience in consulting, solutions sales, customer success, or business development • Exposure to retail, fashion, tailoring • Experience working directly with business owners or SMEs - Strong ability to run structured business conversations with SME owners or operators • Comfortable working in early-stage, ambiguous environments (0–1 building) • Strong commercial instinct with a consultative mindset (not transactional sales) • Ability to understand real-world operations (retail, manufacturing, tailoring, or similar is a plus) • Naturally curious about how businesses work end-to-end • Strong communicator who can influence without relying on product-led selling • High ownership mindset — this is a first-in-region hire • Ability to simplify complex workflows into structured processes or presentations • Understanding of how software enables operational change (not just feature selling) Show More
